Coffee always tastes better when you know the farm it comes from.
Most coffee moves through warehouses before it reaches your cup. Ours doesn’t. At our farm in Arbeláez, Colombia, we grow coffee we know from the ground up. Those beans fly commercial to JFK and go straight to our roaster—no warehouses, no sitting around. We picked it. We roasted it. You’re drinking it.
Alongside our own harvest, we work with a small group of partner farms around the coffee world—producers we know and trust who grow remarkable coffee the right way.
That coffee moves directly to you through monthly subscriptions and small releases, roasted to order and shipped when it’s ready.
Good coffee is one thing.
Well-Born Coffee® is another.
Origin: Arbeláez, Cundinamarca — Colombia
Farm: Finca Brasil (Well-Born Farm)
Variety: Arabica
Roast: Light
Tasting Notes: Caramel, Stone Fruit, Citrus
This coffee comes from Finca Brasil, our farm in the mountain region of Arbeláez, Colombia, managed by Lurdes Duque using biodynamic and organic practices. Here, coffee grows among banana trees, hibiscus and native shade in rich volcanic soil.
Unlike most coffee on the East Coast, these beans never pass through warehouses or commodity supply chains. We harvest and process the coffee on the farm, transport it to Bogotá’s El Dorado airport, and fly it directly to New York. From there it goes straight to our roaster.
Roasted light to preserve its natural sweetness and clarity, Finca Brasil produces a smooth, balanced cup with notes of caramel, stone fruit and citrus.
From our farm to your cup. Better coffee from the ground up.
